ESPN hides private leagues from outside tools. The fastest fix: the commissioner opens the league on ESPN, goes to League, Settings, Basic Settings, taps Edit, turns on 'Make League Viewable to Public' and saves. It takes 30 seconds and only lets people view the league; nobody can change anything. Then paste the league link into League Lens. Not the commissioner? League Lens gives you a ready-made message to send them, and re-checks automatically the next time you visit.

On ESPN, open your league, go to League, then Settings, then Basic Settings, tap Edit, turn on 'Make League Viewable to Public' and save. Only the commissioner can change it.
Yes. It only lets people see rosters, scores and standings. Nobody can make moves, trades or changes to your league.
Send them the message League Lens writes for you, or on a computer connect your own ESPN login: it stays in your browser and is only used read-only.
No. Public leagues need nothing at all, and the optional login connect uses ESPN's own browser cookies, never your password.
